Pediatric telemedicine is now being used by many parents for the first time as an alternative to visiting the local doctor’s office. Through these virtual doctor appointments, parents and their children can now enjoy easier, faster access to doctor’s appointments while cutting out some of the complications and challenges of visiting your local doctor’s office.

Telehealth is a tool with many benefits that can help connect your child to many different types of health care services. This allows your child to have a virtual visit with our Providers either from the comfort of your home or another convenient location or on the go using a smartphone, tablet or computer. These services can be used in addition to in-person visits with your pediatrician.

Telemedicine functions similar to a regular doctor’s appointment, with the big difference being that the appointment is conducted virtually. Parents still need to schedule an appointment, but the appointment will instead be conducted either through video or over-the-phone. Because of the flexible nature of telemedicine appointments, your scheduling options may also be better than what you would receive for an in-person visit.
